Homerton Hospital Respite Room Refurbished
Thanks to funding from a grateful service user, the large portacabin at the rear of the Homerton Hospital has received new furnishings including oak tables, leather chairs and comfortable tub chairs.
A local enterprise Kosher Vending have now installed a vending machine so that additional foods such as chocolates and soda cans can be purchased on site. There has been positive feedback from patients who report that the makeover has given the room a new ambiance, creating an oasis of calm in a busy hospital setting.
